1. About TechFix Pro
TechFix Pro is a trading name of TechFixPro Pty Ltd (ACN 679 252 165), providing mobile computer repair and IT support services across Western Sydney, NSW, Australia. By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Service terms
Quotation
All work is quoted before commencement. Verbal or written quotes are provided prior to any billable labour.
No Fix, No Fee
If we cannot resolve the agreed issue, no labour charge applies. Call-out fees may apply where a visit was completed but the fault was found to be hardware failure beyond economic repair. We will always advise you before any charge is made.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of work. We accept cash, bank transfer and major credit/debit cards. A tax invoice (GST inclusive) is provided on request.
Cancellation
Same-day cancellations of on-site appointments (within 2 hours of scheduled time) may incur a $25 cancellation fee.
Remote sessions
Remote support sessions are billed at a flat $49 rate. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely and an on-site visit is required, the $49 remote session fee is credited toward the on-site charge.
3. Data and confidentiality
We treat all customer data with the utmost care and confidentiality. However:
- We strongly recommend customers back up all data before any repair work commences.
- TechFix Pro is not liable for data loss that occurs during the course of a repair unless caused by our direct negligence.
- We will never access, copy or disclose customer files, documents or data beyond what is necessary to perform the agreed service.
- All data recovery work is undertaken on a best-effort basis. Success cannot be guaranteed for physically damaged media.
4. Warranty on repairs
Parts supplied by TechFix Pro carry a 90-day warranty against defects. Labour is warranted for 30 days from the date of service for the same fault. Warranty is void if the device has been tampered with by a third party after our repair. Accidental damage is not covered under warranty.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, TechFix Pro's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or economic loss, loss of data, or loss of business arising from our services or any failure thereof.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. Website use
The information on this website is provided in good faith for general informational purposes. TechFix Pro makes no warranties about the completeness or accuracy of the content. We reserve the right to update or remove content at any time.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
